This is actually something I was curious about. What is the best way to run two egt probes and be able to log real time in the Haltech Platinum units.

I dont care about having the display, but want to be able to see/data log egt when tuning.

? I'm not sure if this is the answer you are looking for, but just have your two egt's into amplifiers and then input it to the haltech on two different avi's. You should be able to see all your data while your tune.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong because this will be exactly what I'm doing.

That's it. To do channels you'll need two thermocouples and either a multi-channel converter like the AEM or two of the single line converters like what is shown in the links in this thread. Beware, the Innovate TC4 does NOT have the ability to output to an external source.

Has anyone actually used the cheap converters with any success? Also, it's a little off the subject but where can we find cheap pressure transducers for oil press and fuel press?

FJO has nice transducer units for around $90 I believe. I'd talk to Howard Coleman, he will tell you everything about FJO and his great experience with all their products.

Even the cheepy's are fine. Most are using the same IC for the 0-5 volt output. I've been using 2 from O2simulators for a couple years now. Its a simple circuit that some of the bigger names have capitalized on.
