S4 Turbo II - Haltech E8 HELP!!

I just installed a Haltech E8 to my S4 1988 Turbo II. I beleive that my wiring is incorrect since the only available diagrams found was for the E6.

I'm using all my factory sensors and coils, except for a 3bar MAP

If I remember correctly my CAS is wired:

Haltech Green => CAS Green
Haltech Yellow => CAS Red
Haltech Blue => CAS White /Black
Haltech Red => CAS White

The ignition colis were wired as found in the E6 diagram, but then changed the AUX output wire for IGN 3 wire.

Does anyone have a diagram of an E8 for the S4? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My email address is vmerinorx7@gmail.com .

repost-- E6 is different to E8,, note the Vr negative wiring

ignore the 12V,, its for hall effect and optic senders, not for mazda Vr

Vr negatives are common,, this amounts to the CAS ( whites ) being tied together into the ECU ignition input earth wiring ( blue )

for FC type CAS--

24 tooth multitooth trigger in the CAS ( red ) goes to input trigger ( yellow )
2 tooth home event trigger in the CAS ( green ) goes to HOME input ( green )

PS
here is the other diagram for others reference

Bumpstart,

Thanks a lot for the information.

I got spark now, but just a little problem. I have no spark in T1. Could it be faulty coil? My coils wiring set up is the following:

IGN 1 => Leading Pink
IGN 2 => Trailing White
IGN 3 => Trailing Pink

If I switch IGN 2 & IGN 3, then I get no spark on either T1 / T2.

I beleive that my ECU Iginition Set up could be off.
Spark Mode => Waste Spark
Trigger Angel=> 65
Tooth Osset => 11

Triger Set Up => Multitooth Rotary, reluctor, reluctor, falling, falling, Home Filter 2, Triger Filter 2, Home Gain 2, Triger Gain 2. Is this correct?

sounds like you have stock coils

in that situ your setup must be spark mode = " distributor " mode

this sets the ECU to give out a trailing toggle on/off signal
( two driver with toggle mode )

PS

take note of this page
http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/5...8201000002.jpg
as the spark output colours are redefined in this mode--
IGN-1 = leading
IGN-2 = trailing
IGN-3 = trailing toggle
IGN-4 = spare aux output

Hey Bumpstart, thanks a lot for your help.

I got all 4 sparks firing. I wired the coils exactly as you indicated and found my problem. The stock trailing coil has to be well grounded, so all I did was tighten the 3 nuts and BAM! I also found that the tooth offset was set to 1 and changed it to 11.

double check the timing is happy,, using the timing lock
some CAS stabs will demand a 10 , depends
( note i always advocate a 10 BTDC timing lock and a remark of the stock pulley for a confirming 10 BTDC mark to be sure )

if you download maps and things , just be sure your spark config doesnt change unless you want it to

have fun !
