S4 Low impeadence injectors with haltech

I have a elite 750 with stock low impeadence s4 550cc injectors. Will these still work with the haltech or do I need the inline resistors?

Low impedance injectors can work with the haltech, you just have to ensure you have it setup correctly. You'll want to go into the current settings tab under injection system and set the drop down to 1-3 Ohm.

The downside of using factory injectors is the lack of data. You'll want to set the flow to be the nominal 550cc/min value as the data isn't available to map it out against voltage and fuel pressure. Since the elite doesn't have a basemap for anything prior to the FD, For dead times I'd load the older haltech ECU manager software and pull them from the primary injector dead times that haltech has in the tune file for the S4 with 550cc injectors. Someone else may be able to point you to better method, but that has always worked for me in the past.

I emailed haltech and they sent me a default map for a T2. Mine is an S5, I’ll see if I can find the original.

Interesting. Please post it on here somewhere as a reference to others when you can. They dont have ESP files on their main page or in the basemap files that come with the software download for anything earlier than the s6 FD.

I'll go ahead and send them an email but please post it if you find it!

Would the S4 map be the same? I think I need to use the S4 map since the S5 has different sparkplug spacing. Though this should get me in the ballpark enough for a startup and light drive.

Ballpark. Not sure about spark plug spacing, but the only difference in injectors is low vs high impedance so the data should be the same.
