Quick Injector Question

I'm running the Haltech e11v2 onmy 20b, and when I was pulling everything together for the project, i got 6 x 1680cc Bosch injectors because the price was great.

i later learned that using such large injectors as primaries was most likely a mistake because i'd have to be running them at such a low duty cycle that they would be hindering the atomization of the fuel, especially at idle.

so now i'm ready to buy some smaller primaries.

question is, i believe i remember reading that the haltech doesn't care whether the injectors are high or low resistance, as long as they are all the same. . .can anyone clear that up for me?

also, the guy i got the injectors from is really hard to get in touch with, and i can't figure out whether the 1680s i have are high or low resistance themselves, anyone know or know how to find out? i'd like to get these ordered ASAP because it's the last thing i need except for some intercooler plumbing.

lastly, i'm going to buy my new pirmaries from RC Engineering. . .and advice on sizing is greatly appreciated. thanks a million guys

You should try and run them.
They are supposed to be an improvement over the E6K drivers.
The hard part is that you need to adapt them to fit into the primary positions, since the stock ones are side feed.
You got some kinda custom rail???

No, there is just a minimum impedence.
You should be able to run the 1600's no problem.

you're saying i should try and run all 6 1680s? you think i'll be able to idle fine with them eh Ted? if you think so, i'll definitely go that route, because it is much more cost effective.

as it is, they're all in. . .yes i do have a custom fuel rail.

thanks again

Try it!
The Autronic bitches have been hounding us Haltech guys cause they can run 1600's down to insane pulsewidths (~1.3ms!) due to the Autronic "superior" injector drivers - the E11's are supposed to have better injectors drivers that should come close.
