Cleaning up fouled plugs...

Well, I am going through plugs like crazy since I am tuning a K for the first time. At 23 bucks a set...I was wondering if you guys have any good methods of cleaning them up?

They aren't wearing out since they only get a couple hunderd miles on them. I have been using carb and brake cleaner on it and scrubing them. I would like to sand blast them but I think there is to many places for sand to hide.

Don't use any chemicals!
You'll only make it worse, since the center electrodes are very porous and soak up all that ****.

Get a propane or MAPP torch and burn the tips!
Get em red hot!

Be careful when you do this - they burn skin very easily!

It also helps to have a CDI box.

Thanks for the advice Ted...I decided to search after I posted my question...DOH.

I saw you had mentioned the torch thing before...I will give that a try next time. Thanks again!
