so loaded a modified map that chris sent me and the car seems to be happy with it. im noticing a new problem that i havent had before though. with the laptop hooked up and connected. if i rev the engine or rpm otherwise increases, it locks up the software and/or the software says it has lost connection with the ecu. the car and engine and everything else is still running just fine. just the software crashes.

 

What software/firmware are you running?

Also, what USB cable are you using? Does it have a clear sheath so that you can see the shielding inside?

 

software is 1.09
firmware is 1.08.7

cable is just the black standard one that came with the computer.

 

I'll send you one of the other cables.

 

is there a 1.09 firmware update per chance?
