Primary injector sizing for good idle
I know what has already been said about idling on injectors that are too large, but has any one tried 1200's as primarys ,using an E6k for control?'if so what is your injection time (in m.s.) like ?. I am asking because I saw the guys from RAMPAGE RACING make a 13B idle on 1600's (or so they said).

No problem man,
I've tried 1000cc, 1200cc and 1600cc, all work fine the 1600 usually idle around 1.8ms.
The bigger injectors are not as smooth as the smaller injectors but if tuned properly will not be noticeable.

It also depends on fuel pressure at idle and the setting you have the ign/by on the fuel setup.
Port timing also plays a part. More overlap requires richer mixtures.
