I am really *THIS* close to jumping ship and going MoTeC...
*sigh*
The E8 had maybe 3 iterations of firmware that were official and not beta?
Even the older E6K had a lot of development than the E8...
Haltech really needs to get it's **** together and not act like Microsoft.

iirc, the e8 has had 2 firmwares: 1.6x and 1.7x.

i loaded the 1.8x and it fucked up my ignition drivers so i can't run direct fire. have to mail this thing back to haltech and have 2 weeks of freakin down time

eeeekk. Ok guys. I am about to get my car tuned by my tuner. I can't afford to have 2 weeks down time. What firmware and such do you recommend I load?

i'd say the latest official firmware, which is 1.7

i talked to my buddy yesterday who is a haltech dealer and he said the new firmware is due out soon, which could mean anything. lol
