need help starting my FD E11v2.

I'm trying to get my car started and I'm having trouble with the settings. Any of you guys familiar with the ignition and timing settings for an FD with these parameters?
Stock coils and HKS amplifier. For some reason when I hook up the HKS amplifier the timing gun doesn't seem to work and the ignition doesn't fire. I start getting a voltage on the negative terminals of the coils.
I'm also not sure if the trigger settings are correct for original hall effects sensors with stock crank wheel. 1 tooth wheel.
Also I don't know about the ignition settings. direct fire or waste spark. Is this a multi tooth or should it change it to custom1 rotary? Is this reluctor mode or hall effect mode.

Sorry for the ignorance..

As far as ignition setup. I was told these parameters

Lock Degrees BTDC : -5.0
Lock Degrees Trailing Split 0
Trigger Angle BTDC 65.0
Tooth of set 11
Waste Spark
Costant Charge 3.5 ms
Ignition Spark edge (Falling)

The Ignition Setup parameters look correct although I'd add .3ms more dwell time to the ignitor.

Trigger and Home Input need to be set to Internal Reluctor; Trigger Gain 3 and Home Gain 4.

Btw, never apologize for admitting ignorance on a topic. Humility is the single greatest virtue a person could possess in the well of their character.

Haha, well, usually i use 1 on the filter and 1 on the gain, since usually higher than that puts a little too much noise in there.
