so where do you guys mount them? pics are appreciated

 

nobody wants to give up their secrets huh lol? i can do it myself but i was just wondering how other people are doing it.

 

In FC's you can mount them on the frame rail under where the A/C and PS go right next to the strut tower, or on FD's we mount them under the UIM. On dune buggies, we mount them on the bolt holes on the side of the front cover where the PS/AC bracket bolts on. I'll try to dig up some pics of the locations, but that should give you an idea.

I second that! As well ask keeping plug wires short enough.

 

Definately, especially when you use LS1 coils. They tend to yield alot of noise if they are close to the pickups.

 

what kind of wires do you guys use then. i heard something about 99 suburban wires but would that be off of a v8 or v6 or does gm use the same coils on both styles.

i've got the scoot ripoff hood, so there's always a bountiful supply of ambient air cooling them off.
