just got my Haltech -- need some help

Ok, I just got my Haltech and it is sitting in my living room. I purchased it used and I don't have a manual yet. Does anyone have an electronic copy? How about a good wiring diagram. I caught one on the ricemobile.net website, but I am not sure if it is complete. Also does anyone have info on the turbo timer function? Any and all information welcome at this point ... including links to web sites where I can read more ... I been to Hitman's site and to the Lightening in a World of Thunder site.

Oh yeah, I'm going to need some maps for when I get my car back up in two weeks. I have:

intake
3" dp
3" mp
3" cb
ported motor w/ 3mm seals
stock injectors and stock fuel pressure regulator
non-sequential twin turbos
stock IC

Thanks

Well apperently there is not an electronic version. It looks like I will be teaching myself everything.

You scan those SCC articles we talked about and I'll scan my book

I've been planning to scan it for some time, its just backed up behind the owner's manual and some other projects.

I have the whole manual scanned on my laptop at home. I wil post the wiring diagram page, although MikeL on this forum has already posted it, so you might do a search for his website. It was posted on the Haltech list about 3 weeks ago, IIRC.

If something is incomplete on my site let me know. I know there have been wiring color differences between the year cars, so I am going to include all three years in the very near future.

Email if you need help and I will give you my number and we can talk.

Thanks ... the Haltech support is starting to pick up. I will get the manual tonight and read it ... silver7 told me it was useless. I've look at your site and Anthony's site but I am doing a full stand alone ... hopefully. I'll post some of my quetions and answers from silver7. There are just some fundamental ideas to get in my head before I go into full install mode.

Well I got the manual tonight and I think it is extremely helpful. I understand so much more now about setting up the wires and programing the unit as well as basic tuning. I don't know what everyone is talking about .... but then again I'm an engineer and it was probably written by people just like me!

Ok, a few more questions as I am getting closer to completing my wiring job.

Are there a couple of wire colors that are reversed in the wiring diagram? Like it says wht/blk .... but it really means blk/wht? This is what I am thinking on two wires. I believe the manual says that J7:A is GRN/BLK but I think it should be BLK/GRN. Also I think J9:B should be RED/YEL not YEL/RED. In both cases these are not wires that I will be using as they are aux out and idle speed motor #3.

Does everyone use the full range throttle sensor? This seems like the one to use. How smooth is this compared to the stock dual sensor method?

It appears that the PWM/Digital outputs are current sinking or grounding outputs ... therefore a relay is not needed for the blower fans or AC.

Also from reading the ricemobile.net site that bypassing the fuel pump speed/resistor combo is the thing to do. It seems that the Haltech cycles the fuel pump on/off on its own. Does anyone know how the ECU figues this out?

I also don't get why setting up the AC to run like stock won't work. Run the AC line into the aux input and run the AC relay ground to one of the PWM outputs. ????
