ok, explain your setup please... as i undertand it the sppedo sensor on the tranny sends two signals to the OEM dash which has a built in comparator/ converter within it.... this then converts it to a digital signal which goes to the ECU

Cool, well I've actually got friend who is an electrician and circuit guru to reverse engineer the original Mazda system.... Hopefully he will get me some info and finalise the parts he will need in a few days. So I'll keep you all posted

So BM .... You gonna try and run the msd box from the tranny sensor? ....

3300 pulses/mile I believe. One side to the DPI other to the ground. Pull your sensor and try it yourself. May not be a digital signal but it worked reliably for me.

So I wired my sensor directly to the haltech as per Fritts instructions, and downloaded a GPS app to my phone and with a setting of 8230 in the haltech speed settings I'm 0.5 mph difference between the dash and my app att all speeds
