I roughly plotted my wiring harness in Minecraft

I wanted a way to draw everything out and didn't want to pay for CAD. All the connector pin numbers are labelled and sensors and stuff are all color coded. Also, does anyone have a recommendation for Tefzel wire strippers? I've been struggling to find a pair that isn't $300.

Even a Rennsteig isn't $300, and eBay is your friend for de-comm'd tools.

eBay for used professional tools is good advice. If you absolutely want something new, I can recommend the Ideal Stripmaster 45-097. It will do 16-26 AWG wire, which suited the projects I had at the time. There are other models with different size ranges, including one that goes from 10-22AWG (45-092) which might be a better choice for an automotive harness

All of the recommendations for strippers are great. For speed when building harnesses auto strippers are the best. I made wire harnesses for a living and any connection not stripped by our wire machine we used Greenlee 45000. They aren't the most accurate but these are very fast. Good crimpers are another topic.

If you don't have experience crimping, read the below, it is a good over veiw.

Good suggestions ^ I've been in the market for new strippers since I have another Haltech harness build coming up...

To the OP - There are free CAD programs out there you can check out (although props for doing that in Minecraft lol). Fusion 360, FreeCAD among others...
