Haltech E6K wiring harness issue
E6K wiring harness issue
I just picked up a used E6K and the wiring harness is pretty chewed up, and came with only about a foot of the wiring harness from the ecu. As I downloaded the wiring diagram from Haltech.com, the pin on the wiing harness on the ecu side doesn't match up with wiring diagram colors.
For example, on the actual wiring harness, pin #3 is Blue/red, but on the wiring diagram it is says it is Pink/ Black.
My question is: should i follow the pin number on the wiring harness and disregard the color, OR should I follow the wire colors and disregard the pin on the wiring harness?
What should i do? I really don't want to spend 175$ to get a new harness
Thanks again.

Anyway, sometimes those old E6K wiring diagrams had a few wires with different colors, but normally thats not an issue, but, since the K has been discontinued for such a long time, it shard to say what might happen if they had to build a fresh one, which is prolly the case since im sure they dont have any stock for that.
I got my brand new harness from Haltech USA on Monday. I was dealing with Haltech USA Claudio
The deal was that Haltech AUS sent a shipment to Haltech USA and FedEx lost their whole shipment in customs. But now that i have one, I can't wait to get it wired up, but i have wait to work on my car for a couple of weeks because i to finish up on a 1JZ and a 2JZ that im trying to finish right right now
