How do i zero out my timing

I have my FD with single turbo and just downloaded The hitmans Map for startes it works good but my timming seems way off with the timing light. anyways i went to his site but he says to refer to the manual and i cant find it. can someone tell me how to do this.

if your using hitman timing maps, and hitman intial setting of CAS... you should be close. But to nail it, you need to enable the timing lock, be sure a -5 appears below the enable/disable line.... then adjust your CAS until your spot on... then disable the lock and the ign maps will be valid.

Original poster said "FD" - no CAS on FD.

oh, huhm didn't know FD didn't have a CAS... what does it have instead then?? Is it mechanically adjustable?

lock timing, change -5 to "10" and then advance base timing by "30"

so if it's 65, make it 95

then check your timing marks, subtract or add to 95 until you get perfect, then make that same additiion/subtraction to the original "65" number or whatever it was, and unlock timing

After you zero the timing do you have to zero the timing agin when you change the map?

no, only when you alter your ignition or electrical system
