Hitmans base 13BT map, ign saftey?

How safe is hitmans advance both off and on boost? Running on 91 premium (s5 turbo). Also what about his vac fuel map? My fuel setup is 550/1600, I think i can deal with the 1600's (I Hope). How safe is the over all map on 91 pump, and I will be running up to 14psi how good is it up there?

Are there any changes I should make to the map for safety other than fuel under boost?

You really need to get it tuned, the map is a basic map to get you running... Its not meant to be the absolute thing you drive from..

It runs SUPER RICH and uses very consertative advance

But remember! Unlike a piston engine-Running very rich is as bad to the engine as running lean

You will cause the Oil "O" seals to swell up and become brittle and it will smoke and consume lots of Oil

you will also build up lots of carbon which tends to build up on the seal grooves and cause side seals/corner seals/apex seals to get stuck and eventually break..

SO don't think "good running rich is safe" get it Tuned!

I used Hitman's 550/1600 Base Map

My tuner had to lower the fuel bars across the ranges
big time! and advance the timming

and I still got to take it back for further finer tunning...

I was also looking to start with that map (hitman 13BT). Does anyone know if its for the S4, or S5 motors? Or does it even matter? Kabooski, could you tell me where you got your 550/1600 base map, or could you send it to me? Thanks.

The motor is stock internally, with a stock turbo, intercooler, upgraded exhaust and injectors(550/1600). Would the Hitman map be good to base mine off of?

Also, what happened to www.haltechforum.com ?
