as the title states, i have a hesitation now after removing/reinstalling my LIM/UIM. i took them off to paint them, did the deed, etc. put them back on and now the car hesitates. for example, if i am accelerating lightly and shift from first to second, the moment i touch the throttle after the shift, it feels like the car runs on 1 rotor for a split second, then its great. it usually only does it at part throttle, but if i hammer on it in second, shift to third, and hammer down, it will studder for a split second before accelerating. this started right after i took both intake manifolds off and painted them. i also had the throttle body, elbow, and UIM all seperated.

 

help... cant get hesitation to stop

 

did you replace all 3 gaskets?
check your grounds, make sure you dident miss any lines or anything

 

did you replace the gaskets or did you just use gasket sealer. my friend had the same problem on his tii with stock ecu and it was his plenum gasket

 

ok i believe i found the problem. when i seperated the TB from the UIM, i cracked the black spacer and didnt even think about it. i think this would explain why i only get hesitation coming out of vacuum (like letting off throttle in gear on highway, then pressing gas again)

does this sound possible? im gonna replace that spacer asap.
