The other could be wired to an LED to use as a fault indicator. It'll illuminate when the relay is activated, if there's a fault (like the PWM doesn't switch on, the relay is stuck, etc) it won't light.

Of course, you'll probably know theres a problem before you realize the light isn't on cough*pop*cough

This is a very interesting concept though!

The first link is a schematic I just drew up to show you how to wire it the way 13B-RX3 is describing it. My only concern would be that the relays would add delay and inconsistency to the system. But if other people are using it successfully then it probably works. You'd use 2 PWM outputs set to Staging Signal to activate two of the stages. The 3rd stage would be done through the Staging setup on the Fuel screen. Seems like this would work to me but I'm anxious to see what Cris has to say about it myself.

The second link is a screenshot of what the fuel map might look like running a 4 stage system.

Way to take it to the next level!!!

I have never done this but the theory is sound. As for the switching time and reliability issues that shouldn't be a problem with a QUALITY relay (echlin). The switching time for the relay is in the milliseconds an for factory style applications such as a fuel pump relay they will run for years without problems. As little as it would be used they should last forever.

I bet Chris is reading this and laughing his *** off. "CRAZY WHITE BOYS"

Well, the guy at Haltech told me the E6K would burn up if I tried to run (8) 1680cc injectors.

So, I need to either sell the E6K and go with another ECU

Or

Buy a Injector Driver Box. FJO has a 4 channel for $200 and a 8 channel for $380. AEM sells a 10 channel for $200.

What do you guys think ?

I personally think it would be a pain to pull my E6K out and start over.

Well, technically the E6K was capable of handling 8 low imp. injectors, all you needed to do was enable them in the software, go to the Setup Menu, Input/Output Options, and enable the Extra Injector Drivers.

Yep, crispeed just pm'd me the same information. So, that's what I'm going to do !

Thanks, this made the issue alot less stressful

So, why would the guy at haltech tell me to absolutely not do it ? Was he just trying to sell me a new unit ?

Does Mazda reccomend you to boost the little 13B to 40psi and run E-85? But it works right!

Well there is a technical/engineering and political side to most things.
AEM says their ecu can't run a 3-rotor but many has done it.
Edit!

Careful, not too much overlap on the escape or you will loose your mondongos (SP).
