Haltech help! e6k resets it self when battery dies!

help! e6k resets it self when battery dies!

basically if my battery dies or if i disconnect it, my e6k, does not hold the map that is loaded on it. and I have to connect my laptop and add the tune again..


I tried searching but couldnt find it ,(maybe I ddnt search it properly).


Am I missing something? or do I have to set up the program to keep the map on it on the internal memory some how??


any help is welcome!

91 fc3s, turbo swap. e6k. bone stock.

Good luck...I just emailed them about my E6K that has no rpm signal or injector pulse after letting it sit for a year with a dead battery. they responded saying they "no longer support that ECU".
