2 harnesses in 1 California bound

I searched guys and could not find a good answer to this thought I had. First off this is a first gen T2 going to BAR it completely stock s4 t2 into GSL-SE here in sunny California with I think the strictest smog laws. Every 2 years she gets put on the sniffer, so I have to do this big change over back to stock and she passes every time no problem. I am sick of it

Soooo do you guys think it would be a problem to wire in both the stock harness to talk to stock ecu then go back to Ps1? My thoughts were wire injectors, cas, coils, etc. per haltech but also wire in stock stuff so every 2 all i have to do is put back on the cat, pump, maf and stock turbo not dealing with harness removal.
Would there be any electrical offsets or need to bump up wire gauge? When lets say haltech was on no power would be given to stock ecu.Can Just having these extra wires cause any problems even though they are not getting power? I can wire things no problem just do not understand the science of the wiring. Basically If you had a bone stock S4 t2 and bought a haltech could you then just splice in injectors cas etc. leaving stock harness? I would tear down the stock harness loom them both together tape it up like nothing happened..

Thanks for any help its greatly appreciated

The Haltech won't use the AFM,so stock harness may have to be installed just so you can go through the test.

Wow..this is a Pickle..

I installed a Haltech in my S4 non turbo. I made all the connections at the stock PCM. If I wanted to switch back to the factory PCM it would be easy to make a "plug and play" tee system right there.

Since you're using the Sport ECU, use the Haltech patch loom. Will make the scenario JRX13 describes easy with no wiring needed.

no wiring sounds like my type of game. I just want to make it as easy as possible to go back every two years.. thanks guys

But wait... the patch harness ends into haltech what would i do about connecting mazdas ecu? back to the wire game. I guess my biggest portion of the question is will haltech wires mind having a friend along i.e mazda injector wires? basically instead of 2 wires per injector would be 4? thanks again..
