Play with the gains and filters.

This is an E6X?

Start with gain of 0 on both then work up from there.

How was the CAS inserted? If it was done as per the FSM the tooth offset should be 11

i started the gain at 0 on both and moved to 1, then 2 and now im at 3. the CAS is inserted using the factory way, used offset 11, no go. so i tried HITman's way, still not working

Check the CAS wiring and make sure nothings loose. Easier to do if the car's running, but visually inspect it.

If its fine just keep bumping the gains, you could try going back to 1 and 1 and upping the filters also. (tonnes of combinations)

I found that gain of 0 and motronic filter of 2 worked the best (shielded cable all the way to CAS). Very consistant timing and RPM.

Start with a fully charged battery. The slower the engine cranks the less reliable the trigger signal. To illustrate this you will most likely be able to spin the CAS over by hand and get the ECU to read RPM. You can generate a 1000 RPM signal with a quick flip of the wrist. However, a weak battery will turn the engine over at 200 RPM or less and the slow speed means a weak VR signal.

The solution is going to come down to what has already been suggested. The E6X trigger loom needs to be properly installed and you will need to play with the gain and filter settings. You should not have to use anything higher than 2 for any of those settings.

I would go back to when it first started for you and then work from there if you can get it to start again. My e6x install gave me some problems like this to what I finally found was that my car had burned before I got it and I decided to rebuild it with the e6x. I took the altenator off and had it tested and it said it was fine but alot of the insulation on the wires were damaged. I would get random signals when trying to crank and spikes to 16000, on the haltech. I removed the belt and the car started got a new alt and moved the cas wire to go straight back to the fire wall and then across the motor and moved the alt wires as far away as possible and have not had a problem since and I didn't do any crazy shielding on my cas wires. Hope this helps

And if the 11.5volts is really the battery volts from your haltech screen your going to have trouble getting it to start unless all of your maps are right on, get more voltage while trying to get it to start.

Now check your other stuff out. Make sure fueling and spark are correct - also if you've stabbed the CAS like stock, tooth offset should be 11.
