Haltech ps1000 tps question
Ok I took a break from the install for a while cause I was getting burned out on it a bit and needed a break. I am almost done or so I think I am. Just have to wire the TPS and the wiring inside the car.
My question on the TPS. Which wires do I use. Its a s4 car (dont think It matters) but Im switching it to s5 TPS.
TPS wire colors
green/red
black/red
blue
orange
red
yellow
Haltech wires
Orange
white
black
Which wires connect to which wires. Thanks for the help I cant wait to finally finish this.
By the way. A word of advice. have Ludwig make your harness. Wish I had. The harness has come out nice looking but it would have been much simpler to have him build it PNP.

When you look into the connector on the TPS itself, so that you're facing the terminals and not the seals on the back, the pinout is:
TPS Signal - X- X
5V+ - Sensor GND - X
So for a Haltech install it would look like this:
W - X - X
O - B/W - X
The Xs are the three terminals that mate to the unused sensor. Make sense?

Figured id revive an old thread for a question along the same lines instead of creating a new one.
I am converting my UIM to an FD. Still using the same haltech wiring which wires do i need to retain on the FD TPS?
Theres 4. I bought an adtermarket plug for it so the wire color on TPS side wont matter. just need the top to bottom pinout
