haltech metric water temprature sender
Does anyone have the settings for the haltech metric water temprature sender. This is the sender that fits the thermo housing without tapping.
Thanks,
Colin

"Are you using an Autometer supplied sensor? the autometer sender will probably be different. I have already posted something about this before, Haltech is now selling these metric thread sensors with the same calibration as the NPT ones."
I have the metric sensor your talking about, and it is most defanatly not the same. I just went out to my car, (8am local 70 Degrees ambiant), the air temp is ready 71, the coolant temp is showing 101. The engine is physicly cold to the touch. Any ideas?

You didnt say if it was an autometer or a Haltech, if its an autometer its probably different. The OEM Mazda coolant sensor actually works somewhat in a similar fashion than the Haltech, ive used it and at the most, when the engine temp is at about 190 the haltech will be showing around 215-220, still pretty usefull.

i am using the haltech supplied metric sensor in my FC.
the calibration values are not the same as the 'haltech water temp sensor' in halwin.
for example, if my car has been sitting for 5 days not doing anything, and i go online with halwin without starting the car , the air temp sensor (which is correct) reads 20 degrees C, and the water temp sensor reads 30 deg C. when the car gets to operating temperature (thermostat regulated) the water temp reads 86 degrees C. so at operating point, i think its correct or very close to it, but at lower temperatures its out.

This is exacly what I am commenting on. Mine is off by about the same. In googling I found the part number for the sensor (Bosch 0280 130 026), and found a chart from wolf:
