Haltech e6k wher to splice into for leading/trailing
So in order for haltech to work properly it.only.splices into the leading coil pack? I have a e6k and just about dne with connecting all sensors ect. I spliced green/white stipe haltech wire to green/yellow stripe on dash harness side connector that plugs into the leading coil pack.
No haltech wire connects by or to the trailing coil packs?
Yes ive searched and NOBODY goes into detail or post pics of where they spliced into ect.

The haltech has three output wires for the ignition coils. One leading coil trigger, one trailing coil trigger, and one trailing coil toggle. The toggle alternates each individual trailing coil fire.
I didn't not run the three ignition wires directly to the coils, but I tapped into the three appropriate wires in the dash harness two inches from where it plugs into the factor ecu. Easy and clean. Ign 1 & 2 and digital out 1 as trailing toggle.
Here is mine:

I searched.something totally random that nuthn.to.do with wat I.was.looln for.and found a.diagram for.fc to.e6k wireing coils. Wat.a releif too, been searchn for weeks kid!
Still need help understanding some other things like what color wire is 12v ig switched and fuel pump wire? On haltech harness.

I will pull the kick plate back tonight and see what colors I have going to which wires. You can grab power and the fuel pump relay wire from the plug that the factory harness plugs into in the top of the right kick panel.
Leading Coil:
Green/Yellow stripe
Trailing Coil:
Blue/Yellow stripe= pink
Brown/Yellow stripe = white
E6K:
Leading ignitor PINK LIGHT GREEN (IGN OUT) on Haltech Harness PIN 36
Trailing ignitor PINK WHITE/BLACK (DIG OUT) on Haltech Harness PIN 35
Trailing ignitor WHITE GREEN/BLACK (AUXOUT +5VDC) on Haltech Harness PIN 27
There are some discrepancies/variations with the LIGHT GREEN color. On my harness, it's aqua blue.
So that means:
Pin 36 light green - > green/yellow -> leading coil
Pin 35 white/black -> blue/yellow -> trailing coil
Pin 27 green/black -> brown/yellow - > trailing coil
In the first picture I posted of the three wires of the factory ecu plug, that is where I ran the wires from the haltech to in order to connect the coils. It looks much cleaner than running all new wires direct to the coils.
Look at the FSM pdf at page 50-31. B/W is switched power to supply to your haltech. In that same plug, you have the wires for your wipers as well as the wire for the factory temp gauge and fuel pump relay. Look at page 50-36 for the fuel pump relay and diagrams.

does haltech need to b,hookd up directly to battery? Or can I splice into the factory fc harness for 12v switched b/w . Also what does the gray wire on haltech do? Mine has a female spade on the,end so im not,sure,what,this does.
Yes I allready wired coils up exactly wer u,did. Much cleaner

It does not need to be direct to the battery. It needs switched power. Just wire the haltech to the Black/White striped wire. This is a switched circuit and will go dead if you pull the fuse, just like the factory ecu. I think it's the EGI fused circuit. Some may not agree with how I did things, but it's clean and easy.
Edit: Dark gray wire is for the narrowband o2 sensor. Light gray is the air temp.
