Bought haltech standalone , getting it installed and tuned for $400 usd , is it a fair price? Or im I getting eyes poked.

 

sounds fair...
installation is a (somewhat) long wiring process, so that money is probably what a normal place charges as a labor rate

 

Its more than fair, more like cheap.

 

Too cheap. I'd be very concerned about shoddy work.

 

Some have said to me in past thats its a good price, jobs getting done at pjimportz on Mcallen texas. Guys seem to only use haltech at there store, ive seen there job they do preety nice and clean jobs. I havent see how they actually work with haltech cause engine is still in process, have finishing date for first week of november, will see how it turn to be.
