I have been fighting with this for a while, now its time to as you guys what's the cause, and how to solve it. I do my own tuning, and have succesfully (and safely) brought my FD up to over 500 rwhp on a Haltech E8. However, sometimes while crusing and I hit these two or three cells on my map I will feel the car bogg and the wideband will register 9-10 afr. Other times when that area of the map is hit the afr will remain as tuned perhaps high 11's - 12's It so happens that is also the staging area of the map. Would the'End of injection map' have any thing to do with this? I have never tuned this map and dont fully understand what its effects are. If not ,what else could cause this rich spot bearing in mind that these cell are already tuned to 11-12afr. It normally happens when going up an incline.

Thanks

If you're staging right at the transition from vacuum to boost, you're just setting yourself up for issues like this. Move the staging point up into boost to about 6 psi. This way you won't likely hit the secondary injectors during normal cruising.

End of injection likely won't make much difference with the issue you have. Sounds more like a staging issue.

Oh Oh!!!!! Moving the staging bar sounds like a complete retune in the boost area. Is this a fact? Or would it only require re-tuning cells in and around the staging bar?

Not really. It will require the cells below the staging point be altered. It can work the way you have it. Just requires careful calibration.
