Haltech FYI RPM Spikes
FYI RPM Spikes
Just a fyi for some of you guys running a CAS.
I had trigger spikes and my wiring was good/pick up on cas good/power cables etc..
Still had a few spikes.......... couldn't solve it...
Got to looking- and the stock wiring switched colors at the connectors.
Red becomes white... etc......... So when you are wiring up the CAS and using the stock connector DO NOT go off the colors of wires there.
Use the color of wires directly off the CAS (about 3 inches long)
Swapped the wires and works perfectly (Gain 0 filter 2)
I guess I just assmed they would switch colors......

no the cas has a connector on it.
The connector plugs into a stock shielded wire.
If you cut the shielded wire after the connector the colors are switched from the CAS colors.
You will most likely used a bit of stock wires unless you hard wire your CAS or put in your own connector.
