FYI: Rotary Powered Miata in Curacao - 8.7's & 425hp w/ Haltech E11

Hello all, just thought i post this. I was in Curaçao about 3 weeks ago, working on a drag rotary powered miata with a 13B-REW, owned by Dexter Meyer and his brothers. The car has an E11v2 fitted onto it, T70 turbo, running 18-24psi with 850/1600cc injectors and C16 fuel, right now, and street porting. It made 425HP @ 24psi, and it can run constant 8.8's and 8.7's. Weight is around 1800lbs.

Here are some pics and time slips for it, enjoy.

Damm!
That car brings back so many memories. I remember when we built that car/chassis for Dexter way back in the last century.
Claudio you look right at home in a Miata.

Yeah! i dont actually fit in the driver position, im too tall, i was actually on the floor board, there was no passenger seat.

But that little thing goes faaaaast! Here's some YouTube Video from some track testing at 10psi (day video) and the 8.947 @ 148mph pass at 18psi, doing 1.288sec from 0-60ft.

Enjoy.

Daytime Testing @ 10psi of boost only!

8.947 @ 148mph @ ONLY 18PSI!!

I just thought i should update this, even though the Slip says it, most probably would miss it. This car has a best ever time of 8.71 @ 158mph, its previous record was of 8.88.
