Fixed vac leaks now it wont start

So. today i go out and zero the timing on the S4 using a timing gun and she's sitting at about 1700 rpm pulsing away quite happily. I realise that ive got like 8 vacuum leaks from uncapped nipples. I plugged up a nice 10mm nipple and the revs dropped to about 1000 ( guessing ). I turn it off and plug up all the holes and then go to start it up and it wont go now. Im guessing due to lack of air. SO WTF!!!
Running to rich?
