fixed old problems, now i got new ones!

ok so i am pretty sure i sealed up the intake on my car after replacing the injectors, and i also stopped it from idleing at 3k ( the TPS bracket wasent on straight and was rubbing on the throttle so it wouldnt close all the way after it was opened.)

Anyway now the car almost floods everytime i start it, (i JUST put new plugs in yesterday, had no effect on the car) and once it starts and i get it warmed up and running the idle surges from 1500 rpm all the way to 0 and back up. and the vaccum goes from about 15in at 1500rpm to 0 and back with the idle.

It backfires and pops a lot more than before but only in the lower rpm's when on decel you can clearly hear the poping start after about 4-4500rpm. also the car misses out a lot and i can feel the power surge under and around 3k while driving normal. under WOT it still runs strong and smooth.

now could this problem be my injectors are flowing more than the old ones?

Could be many things since you've listed many problems.

Do you have decel fuel cut enabled? if so, what RPM point is it enabled at?

What kind of dwell time are you running your coils at? (stock FC coils?)

Are the injectors brand new and has their flow been verified?

Any info on the engine? type/age/mileage/mods, cruising EGT's, AFR's etc........?

Idle surging is usually a sign of a lean mixture. The surging you are feeling is also usually a sign of a lean mixture. You need instrumentation on the car before you break it.

Like they all said. Tuning. My car displayed similair traits when it was not properly tuned. If your new injectors indeed flowed more you would just be running rich not a hunting idle.

Best of luck.........
