First he won't start now he won't stop

Just put in a E6k. But couldn't get it to start. So then when with the haltech TPS along with the connectors. Now the car starts up alot easier but once it starts it reves up like nothing i have seen before and i m not on the gas. I didn't change anything accept the TPS and the connectors. But everytime i try to start the ar even when cold it will start up quicker and just start to rev 1000rpm, 2000rpm, 3000rpm etc. until i just shut it off. I m hoping anyone might have had this problem and might know. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like a mechanical problem to me. See if something is messing with the butterflies/throttle body. Is your throttle cable snagged on something?

You can email them or attach them as a file.

Although I am busy with the holidays, so it would be a week or so before I can seriously look at a map.

Your map has little to do with whats causing your engine to race. I'd be concerned that the TPS sensor is somehow not allowing the throttle to close against the idle stop. Physically remove the TPS from the throttle body, but don't disconnect it. Make sure that the throttle rests against the throttle stop/adjustment screw, and try again to start the car. If it still races with the throttle against the idle stop, you've got an induction leak somewhere. Time to hunt for a vacuum leak.
