Fc coil packs.

Im running a haltech sport 2000 and FFE trigger. Is there any way to run the GM ignitors with the stock FC coils? i plan on running all my coils via a set of trailing coils that i have (plan on using two coils for primary insteadof the single coilpack) and i wanna see if i can use the stock ignitors or GM ignitors.

i don't see why not, the FC coils are just coils, although big ones.

I don't see why not, but I am not an expert.

I am running 4 trailing coils on 4 leading ignitors, in direct fire mode. I had plenty of trailing and leading coils around, so it was an easy choice for me. So far, the only disadvantage is their size.

No issues running 15psi, at 10.5-10.8afrs, pre turbo water injection, on NGK 10.5 plugs.

Will get pics this weekend. I got inspired by sleeper7's setup, here is a picture of one of his coil that he sent me when I was asking him questions about his setup:

there are lots of aftermarket ignitor options.. bosch has a 4-channel http://www.microsquirt.info/Bosch_211.htm

i ran a subaru 4channel on my FD for a while, they all have similar or better current limit than the FC an take up a lot less space
