Haltech FB with s5 13bt - Sprint RE map help please!
FB with s5 13bt - Sprint RE map help please!
Hey guys so here's my setup:
S5 13bt
Haltech sprint re
1600cc secondary injectors
Primary injectors are stock
KG Parts primary and secondary fuel rail
Circuitsport FPR
Walbro 255LPH fuel pump
LS2 coils
MSD spark plug wires
Everything else is stock, if i think of anything else that it relevant I will update.
I bought this haltech/injectors/ls2 coils off a buddy I know that had it in his FC. The only difference with his motor was that it was street ported and believe he had a GT35 turbo.
Here's my issue, my spark is great and just got the timing dead on according to the timing light. It wants to start but it seems like its not getting enough fuel. Buddy says to mess with the fuel map but I really don't know where to start and to be honest I don't know what I'm really looking at since this is my first time with a standalone.
I'm not sure what other information is needed but I figured this would be a good start. Any help is greatly appreciated

Prime pulse is what gets your engine fired up.
post start enrichment helps out right after starting by proving the cold engine some extra fuel that it needs to complete combustion.
once the combustion chambers are warmed up, then it goes to the base fuel map.
ONCE BASE FUEL MAP IS GOOD AND THE CAR IDLES NICELY AND RECOVERS NICELY AFTER IT REVS, THEN YOU CAN START ON THE COOLENT TEMP AND AIR TEMP FUEL MAPS.
i caps locked it cus its important.

i looked at the map, and i would turn off the ignition air and coolant temp, and the coolant air temp, just for now, if there are less maps on, its a little simpler to tune.
the injector trim is @-2, no idea why. i'd start with 0.
the fuel map looks odd to me, you probably should get it started and see what KPA it idles at and then add a column for that load, and maybe an rpm row too. i do find it helps to have more load points at low rpm, for instance i like 500, 750, 1000, 1250, 1500 rpm break points.
the neat thing about the newer haltechs is that its very easy to set your own load and rpm points.

I am also interested in any additional maps that are available for this setup. I have a near identical setup on my swapped FB. I was running Hitmans 550/1600 60-1T4 basemap on my E6k and it ran near perfect right out of the box.
Can the old map be ported over to the Sprint RE?

the platinum works so much better, though, its almost faster to start from scratch. i'd maybe look at the idle MS, and WOT ms, and make a linear map in the platinum, but other than everything isn't very useful anyways.
