Haltech F10 cant connect

F10 cant connect
Hey guys hows it goin? My fc is at the shop right now tryin to get it fired with the new motor! We connected the laptop to the connector on the haltech and it wont communicate, the laptop is setup correctly and everything its just not communicating with the computer~!

check your fuses, powers and grounds.
then check to make shure your com port is enabled, if it is enabled you can disable it shut off your computer plug in the com port then start it up and see if your computer detects the new hardware

windows 98 or 95 its a really old laptop if i get a chance to drive to the shop today im goin to try and delete the com ports and then restart it then boot it in does and try it again. He said everything is gettin power... the injectors and the ecu so it should work I dont see why not!!!
