Elite 1500 and LS2 Truck Coils No Sparky
Hello,
I just rewired a customers Haltech Elite 1500. It had the Haltech flying lead harness that was "adapted" to the FD sensors, rather a mess. I replaced this harness with the Rywire FD harness and am using the plug and play adaptor. I do not have spark on any of the coils. With the previous flying lead harness, the coils were individually direct-fired separately. With the Rywire harness, the leading triggers are shared waste spark like the stock FD. I have crank RPM, TPS, coolant temp, air temp, injectors work, just no spark. Do the settings need changed in the ignition section? I did try the Wastespark setting but that did not work. I checked the wiring between the coil trigger pins at the Haltech and the coils. The coils are the LS2 truck style coils. Thanks!
