AEM IGN 1A w Haltech harness

Am wiring up 4 IGN1A coils on a Haltech PS1000 harness.
I just noticed that the power supply wire is 16ga.
Is this big enough?
The coils are rated at 19A and it would seem that there would be significant overlap for the leading and trailing driving the current up higher than one would want on 16ga wire

Just seems like a problem waiting to happen.

The coils won't pull anywhere near 19A under normal use. With four of them, in direct-fire mode, you'll pull around 5A at idle and up to 8-10A at full song. I use the ignition circuit in the flying lead loom to power four of the coils. If I need to run more than four, I'll add another circuit to the loom and split the coils up between the two.

Thank you so much for your response.

Just looking at the specs, I was kind of freaking out. Without the direct experience of using these coils, I was ready to wire up a load reduction relay to pull power directly from the battery.

But, by sharing your experience, you have prevented that unnecessary waste of effort.

Once again thank you for your guidance and willingness to share.
