Haltech E8 wiring to FC
E8 wiring to FC
Hi guys,
A very good friend of mine has just bought a Haltech E8 and wants to install it in his 91 FC. The haltech's wiring diagram is a start but, is there another diagram that shows everything he has to know in order to finish his installation?
thanks,
George

What exactly do you need besides the normal regiment of components on the Haltech diagram, the other stuff can easily be done with the Haltech's generic wiring diagram, things like sensors and such, appart from the BAC, which is just 2 wires, 12v and a PWM, tach comes from the stock trailing ignition module, and thats pretty much it.
Be specific on your requests so we can better help you. Is this a flying lead installation?

So far we have the E8 wiring diagram found on the Haltech's site, http://www.haltech.com/downloads/e8/...ng_diagram.pdf
Claudio Since we dont have any experience with that ECU, I was wondering if the above diagram is enough or not. What do you mean by flying lead installation? We just want to know where do all these wires from the Haltech connect to into the various parts since we are replacing the stock ECU and wiring.
Havoc thanks a lot mate.
