got everything installed and im not seeing any rpm. im guessing it is something with the trigger setup. here is what mine is set to
multi tooth rotary
reluctor
reluctor
falling
falling
Pregain filter group
trigger filter level=0, home filter level=0
trigger gain control=0, home gian control=0.

this is per a map from claudio in the maps section.

i did some searching and turned up a thread that mentioned setting trigger filter level=1, trigger gain =2. didnt mention doing anything to the home filter level or home gain control.

the person whom i purchased the e8 from had
trigger filter level=2, home filter level=2
trigger gain control=4, home gain control = 4.
i believe it was fitted to an s5 tii as well but i thought i would check here just to make sure i dont **** anything up.

I got lots of knock using an FC cas with gains set higher than 3
Try 2's all around

 

Did you use the red wire in the CAS loom as a ground like the Hitman site shows?

 

Mazda CAS - E8 Trigger Harness
Red -------> Yellow
Green ------> Green
White -----> Blue
White/Blk-----> Blue
(Red = 12V+ not used)

this is how mine is wired.

 

Ok. You did it correctly then. Several guys have used the Hitman instructions on the E8 and gotten the 12v wire in the mix. I've had success with filters of 1 and gains of 1 or 2.
