e6x to sport2000

I would just like to say, that converting from e6x to sport 2000 is not fun in the least bit.

Pffft, I went from a e6k to ps100. I had to swap the map manually, and yes that was cell by cell

I feel your pain!

the worst part is, the e6k or e6x has 2d maps for a lot of things and the sport have 3d maps. f it, import it anyway.

but OMG once you go try to run the car the platinum is like 10,000 times better.

if you want a couple of tips, import your E6K map, it'll be wrong, but that's ok. i would turn off as many correction maps as possible, to start with. next is to make the ones you're using as small as possible, you don't need a 32x32 coolant temp map.

once you get used to the software its very easy to add columns and rows to the maps, so start small and basic, and expand as you get the thing happy. but to start with make it simple.

for instance my friend just did exactly this, E6K to Sprint RE, and since its an NA, i really could have used a timing map that was 2x2, instead of 32x32, to start with anyways. things like the coolant temp map were like 5x10, and they could be more like 3x8, we don't need -20 coolant correction.

Once wired correctly and the correct settings or base map is loaded then starting a REX on a SP2000 is extremely easy ,line up the timing and swing give fuel as needed and go from there!
