e6x, no spark :(
1986 GXL with 87 fresh rebuilt turbo engine
1000/1600cc injectors
Haltech e6x.
LS1 coils
You may or may not remember I had problems getting it to start. Turns out the crank speed was just too low...one push start and it fired right up. Since then, it's started within 2 seconds of the first crank, even though I'm not sure how close the timing was to correct.
Well, I took it to the gas station and around the block a few times. Car stumbles, but runs. It would idle at 2500RPM for however long I wanted it to. Compression sounds awesome.
Randomly lost my RPM signal the other day. Took the CAS out and spun it by hand, the injectors fired and the coils clicked. Put it back in and played with the filters a bunch, got it to go again. Car ran again, I was playing with the trigger offset values to try and get the timing to line up. Eventually, I flooded the engine and killed the battery.
Today, I charged the battery and de-flooded the engine...and my spark is gone. Starter fluid with injectors off doesn't even pop, and I can't get anything out of the engine. I pulled a plug and set it on the shock tower so I could see it from inside the car and still got nothing.
What gives? How do I troubleshoot the coils/wiring?

Checked the plugs from the ECU, I have 12v from cranking and the two ground pins have ground continuity.
How do I check the LS1 coils? What else do I check?

Got it running again! CAS is weak, it was giving me a tach signal but not running the spark plugs. Increased the gain a little, replaced a dead (BRAND NEW) plug and it fired right up.
