AB E6x hates AEM uego wideband

please excuse me but it's been a while since ive had my car running so i might not remember all the details.

simply my wideband gauge works fine but when i try to read it with the e6x i get an a:f ration that is completely impossible. i've tried on both the 1v and 5v setting and nothing changed. i estimate a couple weeks before i get the car running so i'm not in a rush but no one i ever talked to could figure it out. i'll dig outthe laptop and see if i saved any of my car's pulls last year.

as far as i can tell it only reads in Mv. i found a few posts where peeps were using UEGO set to p2 1v-2v 1000mv = 10 afr 2000mv = 20 afr.. and using the 5v setting on the e6x to read it. havent tried it myself, but it makes sense

E6X has no provision in the software for AFR displaying or datalogging, my suggestion (which has been covered before) is just feed the 0-5v signal to the Spare A/D input set to General, and just log the voltage, then open the log in Excel, and apply the formula used to obtain AFR from the voltage reading (should be in your WB documentation) to the column for the Spare A/D. Dont forget to divide the voltage by 1000 in the calculation, since the ECU is logging mV not V.

Should be something like this: AFR = mV / 1000 * 2 + 10, or something like that, cant remember.

FWIW, I've found the AEM's output to be very jumpy/different then what the display shows. It could've been something in my setup, but the two never quite jived.

My NGK works fine though

AEM uses a pronominal signal that only jives with other AEM stuff.
I went through exactly what your going through except with MoTeC. I eventually traded the AEM for the LC-1.
