E6k program install

I just bought a Haltech reecently & I've been trying to install the program on my laptop. Every time I try to install it, I get this:

THIS WILL COPY HALTECH FILES TO C:\HALTECH\E6K
UNABLE TO CREAT DIRECTOY
THEN E6K.CFG
PATH NOT FOUND - C:\HALTECH\E6K
0 FILES COPIED

I followed the directions to install it straight from the instruction manual. I have Win95 and I've tried it in DOS mode too. Is there any other ways of installing it? Thanks...

Don

I had the same problem. I made my own directories while I was in windows. Then when I installed the program it worked fine. All you need is a directory called "haltech" and a sub directory called "e6k" in your c drive.

Re: E6k program install

Yeah, what the hell is up with that? Why do they have an install file that won't work? I just ended copying and pasting it to my own directory......

Stupid Haltech garbage......
