Question E6K injector setup....

primaries = stock hi imp on INJ1

secondaries = stock hi imp on INJ2

I want to change the secondaries to 1200cc low imp.....leaving the primaries alone

Do I just disable the INJ2 on the haltech and hook up the secondary 1200 cc low imp

injectors to INJ3 & INJ4 on the haltech harness?

Anyone running hi and low imp?

Any info or link would be great....

If this is a bad idea then I'll just get some hi imp 1000cc injectors and run it on

the INJ2 as it is and change the info for them by the laptop

Thanks....

nothing will change.

you can do a direct swap.

Only when you are running multiple low imp injectors on one driver (you have 4x of them INJ1,INJ2,etc) do you need to change settings/fuse.

Since you only run one injector per driver your fine even if it's low imp.

btw you should be using all 4x drivers -

INJ1 PRI Front
INJ2 PRI Rear
INJ3 SEC Front
INJ4 SEC Rear

Thanks for the reply.......

I am using Inj1 for the 2 primary high imp. injectors.

I am using Inj2 for the secondary high imp. injectors.

The high imp. injectors are split up into pairs for 1 line.

The low imp injectors would be seperate 1 - 4 lines

So my E6K can run 4 low imp injectors and 8 high imp injectors.

That'll work although it's not ideal. I'd recommend sticking one injector per driver:

INJ1 to front primary
INJ2 to rear primary
INJ3 to front secondary
INJ4 to rear secondary

Ok thanks for the response. I already have the low imp. 1200's so I'm just going to get some low imp 720's and use all 4 drivers. Thanks again......
