hopefully you guys can and are willing to help a confused individual out. we have this fd that had a wiring nightmare with a power fc. the owner didnt have much money so we elected to go with an e6k and harness second hand.

first we followed this the best we could

im a bit concerned about two things.
1. i thought that i read somewhere that the e6k and e6x wiring for the crank angle sensor may be different?

2. there are two secondary rear rotors labeled and no secondary front rotor for the fuel injector

and now for the fun stuff..
as you can see, this harness is somewhat beat but i need help with a few wires.



can anybody tell me where the green and orange wires go?



the grey wire in the previous picture was tied to this grey and red wire and this blue and green wire. does anybody know where these might go?

and then theres this.

can anybody tell me wtf is going on here? i dont have the other end of that round plug. it looks like the relay has two power wires on the same side of the circuit and one is toasty, is that right? finally, what is that red wire taped to the blue wire? im assuming the big frayed red wire goes to battery(its crimped to a yellow and an orange wire). i will be replacing it with something more appropriate and less jacked up.

if this crap is too jacked up. can i buy a nice harness from one of you fine folks for a decent price?

thanks for all your help. any little bit of info will help me out so please. there is so much information out there that i am completely confused and am at the point that i dont trust anything out there.

that harness should be ok with a little work. any harness you buy used will probably be in similar condition. I would redo the frayed parts, or atleast put some heat shrink on it. the orange wires are part of the fuel pump wiring, you need to check it with a meter to be sure. the green looks like aux input

get out your meter and start checking continuity on the wires you are unsure of

the e6k and e6x harnesses are slightly different, like so..



im using an e6x harness with e6k on my FC, just had to swap/splice the 2 wires above for it to work

if that doesnt help, then you may be in over your head and should take it to a pro
