e6k coil wireing?

Ok heres what I have so far. Light Green is leading coils and dark green/ black strip and white/black strip is trailing. Which color is front trailing and which is rear trailing? If the colors I have are correct. What color is 12v igniton from e6k?

I have ls1 coils and with the help of a diagram I got off this forum its been easy finding the right wires. Is there anything I need to know about e6k and ls1 coils before I start the car?

Thanks

Ok, first off, since this is an E6K and you want to use LS1 coils, you will have to use the Blue wire (Digital2) for the trailing 2, and White/Black for T1. And you have to set the Spark Mode to direct fire. Since you will no longer be using the toggle feature, so no black/green wire.

Yes, thats it. Ignition 12V power should come from the main relay (and be switched of course).

With the E8/E11 you get an aditional fuse in the fuse block for 12V switched (relayed) ignition power so the Haltech can control both the injector power AND the coil power.

Let me know if it fires.

It might benefit you to wire an externally sourced 12v witht the E6 series ECU's. The E8's have a seperate Ign. 12v on a seperate fuse for this purpose, but the older E6K's don't.

Your ignition 1 will be split and go to both Leading coils aswell.

Then follow what Claudio recommended for the Trailing, and you shouldn't have any problems.

Those coils are also set to: Constant Charge(4.5-5.2ms) and you will be using the "Falling Edge" to fire them.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hows the coil setup on an e6k with just stock coils then? I see three wires for the coils.

What's up with the chics? Anyway, the coil connections for the K are exactly as the same as the X. Light green wire goes to the leading coils, white/black goes to T1, green/black (aux. out configured as "toggle") goes to the toggle select wire on the trailing coils, and thats it. Settings are the same.

...and you can pull back your charge time to 3.2-4.0ms... done and done.

Claudio, just to double check, what would the oem wire colors be for the T1 wire and the trailing toggle select wire? I want to make exactly sure I am not landing these wires backwards. Thanks!

This will clear up any confusions you might still have.
