Curious about coolant sensor wiring
Well since I got the large coolant sensor with my e6k. Im gonna use the stock one (its not that cricital anyways). The water pump housing is all together and I dont wanna go tapping it with it together
So I wired in the factory one. The Haltech has a violet and a black wire. The coolant sensor from the Cosmo had a brown/white and a brown/yellow I think from memory. But I dont assume it matters which goes where?
Just making sure...

I have done remote starters/alarms etc that took some thought
The Haltech is very simple... But I kinda cheated a few places like with the TPS and coolant sensor. Thanks to HITman spoon feeding me
Yes they can be connected either way, the ECU outputs a certain voltade to the sensor and receives another based on the resistance of the sensor , which changes due to temperature variations.

So then, were the coolant wires unimportant?
