Curious about coolant sensor wiring

Well since I got the large coolant sensor with my e6k. Im gonna use the stock one (its not that cricital anyways). The water pump housing is all together and I dont wanna go tapping it with it together So I wired in the factory one. The Haltech has a violet and a black wire. The coolant sensor from the Cosmo had a brown/white and a brown/yellow I think from memory. But I dont assume it matters which goes where?

Just making sure...

I don't see how some people say they can wire a E6K in 5 hrs. It doesn't seem hard, just real time consumming.

5 hours? I did mine in like a little over an hour. It was very easy, but I deal with car stereo on a daily basis.

I have done remote starters/alarms etc that took some thought The Haltech is very simple... But I kinda cheated a few places like with the TPS and coolant sensor. Thanks to HITman spoon feeding me

So then, were the coolant wires unimportant?

Yes they can be connected either way, the ECU outputs a certain voltade to the sensor and receives another based on the resistance of the sensor , which changes due to temperature variations.
