Couple easy questions. Zero timing, fuel trims

PS1000:
S4 13b street ported
750/1200cc injectors (10 watt,10 ohm on each secondary)
Stock CAS and coils/ignitors

On the Zero-ing timing... I have the Racing Beat main pulley, with 4 marks on it. 5* atdc, 0*, 10* btdc, and 20* btdc. Im thinking i should lock timing at -10 on the screen, and dial in the main pulley to 10* BTDC (3rd mark on pulley) with a timing light on L1 spark lead?

On the fuel trims... I planning on using Haltech's base map. But im thinking it is a suitable map only for the stock 550cc injectors and may flood the engine instantly before i can start it to make corrections.
Can I use the fuel trims to compensate for this for the sake of startup?
And what is the actual range of "trim"? Is -100% really shutting fuel off?

if you have a zero or 10 BTDC mark then appropriately set the locked timing value to 0 or 10
( not -10 as this relates to the haltech as 10 ATDC )

you can use the trims to get a start up
