could be simple but then again idk?
i have to enter a passwrod for the haltech e6x and if i dont i cant change or do much at all,so is the password made up or is it a serial number ? or what thx cause i cant find a serial number on the ecu.
I had asked this question about 4-5 months ago, and got no answer, good to hear I am not the only one with this issue, It would be nice to be able to enable closed loop O2 and gain some Mileage out of the car. If you figured anything out let me know.
To get around the password you hit cancel when prompted to enter it. At that point you need to load the default map onto the ECU. Once you do that you can reload the map you had in the ECU and be ready to go. The problem arises when you do not have the map backed up to a file and have nothing to reload once you load the default map to get around the need for a password. Sending it to Haltech will not help.

Thanks for the heads up Chris.
