Connecting rx8 fan motors to haltech

Hi looking for some assistance in determining which wires get hooked up the the haltech harness. Currently the fans on the car only have a two wire motor and the rx8 motors have 4 wires.

The haltech has a relay which the blue wire feeds both black wires coming from the fan motor. The blue wire from the motor goes to a black wire in the haltech harness?

Also is there a way to have the high and low settings for the fan speed be con troles by the ecu?

I did run across this post but unfortunately it doesn't give me the answer I'm looking for. I have 4 wires with the new fans but my current fans only have two wires each.

I need to at least identify which are the grounds and which are positive with the new fan wires.

You can do that with a power probe or just running wires from a battery to the pins. The fan will spin in a direction. The later model wiring diagram for the rx8 is available I'm sure so you don't have to guess and check if you don't want to.

Trying to retain the multi speed function is just additional complication for no real reason. Wire them for high speed and let them do their thing. You only need to identify the high speed wire and ground and ignore the other 2.

I'll try that. Thank you!
