Jamin,

I'm running the IGN-1As now. The Haltech is providing the signal. Before I installed them, I was running the tach off of my stock coils and it was reading correctly.

I'm using the factory CAS. Wiring has been double checked as recently as last week. When hooked up to a timing light, it appears to be firing properly, with no delay between pulses. Also, I rechecked the timing yesterday. The mark on the pulley lines up perfectly, and does not move at all when I raise the RPMs.

I have managed to get it to idle pretty smoothly. If I have my lights off, it is around 12.4. When I had my lights on last night and the fan was running, I saw 12.9-13.0. The idle was still smooth.

My biggest concern is the fact that everyone's maps are at double what mine are. I understand that you should give the motor what it wants, not what I think it needs, but I'm currently at 1.04ms injection time at idle on the 725 injectors.

I think I can get around the .772 injection time when the secondaries come on by moving my staging bar to 14 or 15, but what is causing this huge discrepancy in injection times? Because of this issue, I wouldn't be able to go to larger primaries if I wanted to, because I can't run the injectors below a certain pulsewidth.

A quick update on my problem:

Chris at LMS-EFI was kind enough to loan me an E11 for testing purposes. As soon as I loaded my map and moved the injector durations closer to where I felt they SHOULD have been, the car started and idled effortlessly. My duty cycle that had been showing 2% now shows 4%, which makes sense due to the injector times being doubled but I wonder if that is an idication of MY E11 having bad drivers? Or would it be something else?

Either way, I can't thank Chris enough for stepping up and helping me out like this! I have sent my unit to Haltech for repair but I'm hearing conflicting opinions from them if they'll have it back to me in time for DGRR. Anyone want to loan me an E8 or E11 for the Gap?
